Georgia Music Educators Association Convention in Savannah, GA

They call her Hard Hearted Hannah,
The vamp of Savannah,
The meanest gal in town;
Leather is tough, but Hannah's heart is tougher,
She's a gal who loves to see men suffer!
To tease 'em, and thrill 'em, to torture and kill 'em,
Is her delight, they say,
I saw her at the seashore with a great big pan,
There was Hannah pouring water on a drownding man!
She's Hard Hearted Hannah, the vamp of Savannah, GA!

Okay, so I was in the hometown of Paula this past weekend, and I had to visit her restaurant. I admit, I didn't actually eat there, but I sure did take pictures as I drove by.

I was actually in Savannah for work, but enough about that; let's get to the important stuff.

You've got the Paula Deen store,

And the "Lady and Sons" 50's sign,

And some weeping willows that covered the roadways downtown.

It was a really beautiful town, and there were more ghost tours than you could shake a stick at. If you ever get a chance, visit Savannah and go to the
Pirate House (seafood in a SUPER old and authentic building) for dinner.

Looks like you had a great time at your conference.

I think I ate at The Pirate House with my parents when I was a kid. It's totally haunted, ya know! Mike and I found out about that on one of those ghost tours.

Oh, yeah, he proposed to me in Savannah. So romantic!

Now if we ever take a girls trip to Savannah you can be our tour guide since you've already been, and even lost your car! I'm sure you had pleanty of time to get familiar with those squares while you were looking for it :-)

I'm glad you had a great time in Savannah. I love Savannah...I've been five times already and I never get tired of the city. That's so sweet that Brian admitted that he missed you while you were gone. Nirav would never admit that to anyone else. :-P
